Tuğçe Söğüt, Secretary General of EYDK participated as a speaker in the panel “How Can We Strengthen the Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Türkiye?”, held as part of the Opening Event of the EU-funded “Supporting Civil Society in Türkiye through Social Entrepreneurship” Project.

In her remarks, Tuğçe Söğüt highlighted what impact means, why impact investing is becoming increasingly important, and how impact has become a shared priority across the public and private sectors, civil society and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The panellists shared the view that developing financial, legal and institutional support mechanisms is critical to enabling high-impact social enterprises to emerge, grow and become sustainable.
