In the 10th anniversary of the SDGs, the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) marked a key milestone in the transformation of the global financial system. As EYDK, we are proud to have contributed to this historic process!

EYDK Chair and GSG Impact Trustee Şafak Müderrisgil spoke at the session “Investing Forward: Opportunities in Emerging Markets”, organized in collaboration with PRI, SpainNAB, and UNGC Spain, sharing insights on how to increase capital flows to emerging markets:

•  Opportunity: Innovative models such as impact investing can generate both financial and social value.
•  Area for Improvement: Enhanced data availability, aligned priorities, and increased awareness can significantly boost capital flows.
•  Solution: Needs-driven projects, strong impact measurement systems, and inclusive design can unlock capital at scale.

To achieve the SDGs, we must transform not only capital flows, but also our approach to financing.
