🌍 Bringing together diverse actors from across the global impact ecosystem each year, the GSG Impact Global Leadership Meeting was hosted this year in Amsterdam by the Netherlands Advisory Board on impact investing (NAB), with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and Amsterdam Impact.
GSG Impact’s National Partners, Strategic Partners and other stakeholders from its network, active across more than 50 countries, came together over three days to explore the “impact economy” approach across topics ranging from capital mobilisation to policy and market transformation. 🤝
Following the panel discussions, six working sessions focused on strengthening the narrative around the impact economy, moving from policy access to policy influence, mobilising domestic capital, activating the demand side, climate resilience and adaptation, and partnering with wealth owners for impact.
The Climate Resilience & Adaptation working session was co-facilitated by Tuğçe Söğüt, Secretary General of EYDK (Türkiye National Partner), and Ricardo Ramos, Executive Director of Aliança pelo Impacto (Brazil National Partner). 🌱 The session explored how climate and nature risks can be translated into investment opportunities and financing solutions, how private and domestic capital can be mobilised, and the role of national coalitions.
Building on the shared agenda advanced during Brazil’s COP30 process through the collaboration of Aliança pelo Impacto, GSG Impact and PRI, we will continue to take this work forward in Türkiye as the host of COP31.
