On 24 June, ahead of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) to be held in Sevilla, a high-level dialogue on financing sustainable development took place in Ankara.

Organized by the UN Türkiye Office and the Embassy of Spain, the event brought together senior representatives from government institutions, international organizations, development banks, the private sector, diplomatic missions, academia, and civil society.

Şafak Müderrisgil, Chair of EYDK and Trustee of GSG Impact, and Seçil Kızılkaya Yıldız, Vice Chair of EYDK and Vice CEO of TKYB, joined the panel “Catalysing and Unlocking Private Finance for the SDGs”.

The panel emphasized the role of impact investing in achieving the SDGs, the transformative power of private capital, and the importance of multi-stakeholder partnerships.
